Trekking: Nepal is the ultimate destination for the trekkers. Easy, moderate or rigorous, Nepal offers various level trekking to everyone. Nepal has aptly been called "A Trekker's Paradise" for there are some of the most spectacular trekking routes of the world. Trekking in Nepal is as much a cultural experience as a Himalayan adventure. In the shadows and foothill of the Himalayas you walk through charming villages. The two most popular treks are the Everest Base Camp Trek and the Around Annapurna range. There are many different treks offered in the Everest and Annapurna regions. Other popular regions are the Langtang valley, Helambu, Makalu, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga and the Arun Valley. Another popular destination in the Everest region is the Gokyo valley.

Mountaineering: With eight of the highest peaks in the world including Mt. Everest, Nepal is the perfect place for mountaineering. There are some 326 peaks in Nepal open for mountaineering today. Climbing permits for peaks in the Nepal Himalayas are issued for all seasons by the Mountaineering Section of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Rafting/Kayaking/Canyoning: The thunderous rivers originating from the snow meltdown of the Himalayas are the ideal destination for the adventurous activities. The rivers flow down the twisted canyons and storm through calm valleys making ideal for Rafting, Kayaking and Canyoning. These adventures provide you the freedom to explore beautiful under-water landscape.

Jungle Safari: The best way to know the nature is the Jungle-Safari. The jungles in Terai are the home for many rare species of animals and birds. You can travel around the forests and to encounter some of the really special spices of wildlife. You can enjoy the Jungle Safari at most of the National Parks in Terai region.

Bungy Jumping: Bungy Nepal at the Last Resort may be the most spectacular jump on the planet. At 160 meters high in a tropical gorge with the Bhote Koshi, one of the world's wildest rivers, raging below, Bungy Nepal is Nepal's Ultimate Rush and one of the longest free-falls in the world.

Mountain Flight: For a traveler who is unable to make a trekking trip to the mountains either because of lack of time or physical fitness, due to sheer want of the adventure streak, there are mountain flights to stimulate the experience.

Paragliding: Paragliding is the most pure form of flying. By using the elements and rising currents of warm air, we can stay aloft for many hours and travel many miles. This simple aircraft fits easily into a rucksack and weighs around 10kg.

Horseback Riding: Horse riding is another popular choice for touring in various hill regions of Nepal and Tibet especially in places where there are no other modes of transportation. Popular horse riding programs are of 8 to 13 days. Horseback riding can also be mixed with trekking. Some people may prefer to trek for a few days and then horse-ride the rest of the journey.

Elephant Polo: Originated from Nepal and now played in many countries, this game is much like the horse polo. Usually there are nine elephants on the field (each team has four elephants, and one for the empire), each player sits behind an experienced elephant driver, players communicate with the driver to steer the elephant. The game is played in December every year. The Headquarter of World Elephant Polo Association is located at the Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge in Chitwan, Nepal.
