Trip Booking Terms & Conditions

The folowing terms and conditions set forth the contractual agreement between NextYatra and you, our guests. It contains legal obligations. Guests are advised and encourage to read these Terms and Conditions prior to making an application form on which bookings are accepted by NextYatra. To process a booking; first read the terms and conditions and purchase through NextYatra in all booking arrangements. The person making the booking shall be considered/judged to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.

All tours and services can be changed without prior notice. You can book them directly in the Next Yatra offices or at the appointed agents. No variation to these terms & conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of NextYatra.

Trekking and walking/ climbing and mountaineering in remote parts of this mysterious Himalayan countries carries an inherent risk due to the weather cause injury and death, this is beyond our control. NextYatra is always does the best to reduce any kind of risks and hazards to our capacity, still there are chances of accidents happening, and in this you must agree.
You are advised to read the following booking conditions very carefully. No variation to these terms & conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of NextYatra.


Trip Booking Payment

These Booking Terms and Conditions contain important information. It is essential that you read them carefully and understand them.

  1. All bookings are made with NextYatra Travels Pvt. Ltd, Registered Company Number 2067/01/003433 (hereinafter referred to as The Company)
  2. The term “trip” used in these web site and booking conditions refers to all itineraries described on this website including those which might otherwise be known as walking, tours, treks, sightseeing, climbing, mountaineering, expeditions or holidays.
  3. To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with 20% booking deposit for every trip booking per person. A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit by the travelers. For Credit Card payment, please contact us. You can pay the remaining balance upon arrival at trip destination.

Trip Cancellation & Refund

Should you have to cancel your trip reservations for whatever reason you must notify NextYatra immediately.
By the traveler:

  1. You will loss of monies you paid if you cancel your trip and apply to all cancelled reservations. Cancellation notice is required minimum 20 days prior to trip departure and must be made in written, such notice commences from the day received. Cancellation shall be valid with approval from the company after receiving documentation. The Trip shall then be termed as cancelled and a cancellation charge will be made for the trip cancel be deducted from the advance paid.
    The loss of monies paid is as follows
    • Less than 60 days in advance: 100% of the advance payment made.
    • Less than 45 days in advance: 50% of total advance payment made.
    • Less than 7 days in advance: Loss of full payment.
    • On or after the starting date: No refund will be made
  2. If you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip has begun No Refunds will be made. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized. Please note that these conditions are subject to change.

By the Company:

  1. NextYatra reserves the right to cancel any trip you booked before it is guaranteed to run. A trip is guaranteed to run; once it has minimum two fully paid travelers, unless minimum numbers state otherwise.
  2. If NextYatra cancels a departure which is guaranteed to run we will refund the price, plus your are entitled to take an alternative trip of the same value without any extra charges. A provision to this NextYatra reserves the right to cancel any trip, including a guaranteed trip, prior to departure due to reasons beyond it’s control (i.e.: natural disasters, flight cancel, consequences or strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences ). In such case, NextYatra will refund only the trip price excluding the cancelation charges that may apply to NextYatra from it’s suppliers.
  3. The above cancellation fees also apply if you cancel due to changes in the departure date, changes in accommodations, weather problems, fear of travel, or any cause beyond our control. However, if you find a replacement, we will charge only the costs caused by the replacement.

Amendment and changes

  1. If the booking amendment request is received by NextYatra 60 days or more prior to your original trip departure amendment will be made without any charges. If there has been any change in the price of the trip you change your booking to, from the time of your original booking to the time of the amendment, the new trip price will apply to the reservation. These fees are in addition to any changes levied by hotels, and other suppliers to NextYatra. If the booking amendment request is received by NextYatra less than 60 days to your original trip departure charges as per cancellation fees.
  2. Changes to any other arrangements made in conjunction with your trip booking ( i.e. hotels, transfers, etc ). Amendment to any other arrangements made in conjunction with your trip reservation will incur an administration fee of US$ 20.00 per booking per change. This fee is in addition to any charges levied by hotels, ground operators or airlines.
  3. It may not be possible to make any amendments to your booking within 10 days of departure. Fees for the late changes will vary from a minimum of US$ 50.00 upward per booking, if the change can be made.

Travel Insurance

Our clients must have comprehensive travel insurance package. The insurance must include medical coverage, air ambulance and helicopter rescue services and should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, medical expenses, death etc. you must ensure that the policy you do take provides an adequate level of protection and covers you for the activities involved. You must carry proof of insurance (e.g. your insurance certificate) with you on the holiday; if you cannot provide this at the start of the holiday, you will be required to take out a suitable policy at that time. If this is not done or impossible for practical reasons, then you will not be allowed to continue with your trip and will not be entitled to any refund for services not provided.

It is a condition while booking tours/treks with NextYatra that travelers/trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves. We are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by travelers/trekkers incurred due to delay, accidents, cancellation, health, emergency evacuation, and loss of items, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects. Travelers and trekkers are required to have full travel insurance. Every effort is made to ensure the safety of all participants.

All costs for emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal unless an insurance company has agreed to pay the costs on your behalf. It is important than any insurance policy issued to cover emergency evacuation for tour/treks does not exclude high altitude trekking of mountaineering.


Passport and Visas:

You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents and other requirements documents required by laws, regulations, orders and /or requirements of the countries you will visit. You must carry a valid passport and have obtained the appropriate visas when traveling with NextYatra. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. It is recommended you have a minimum of three blank pages in your passport when traveling. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of the correct visas for the countries you are traveling to. If you lack the correct visa documentation NextYatra won’t be responsible in any manner.


Assumption of Risk:

We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once in a life time journey. We perform our duties honestly and seriously to make your trip very smooth and pleasant. You understand that during the course of the trip certain events may occur, including, but not limited to, accident or illness in places without medical facilities, political instability and the forces of nature. You agree to assume all risks associated with the journey and agrees that no liability will be attached to the NextYatra or its outfitters, employees or agents, or the any member of the tour group in respect to death, personal injury, illness or delay or traveler/trekker, or for any loss or damage to the property of the traveler during the course of the trip, howsoever caused.


Trip Inclusion:

We have included from airport to airport of just trip inclusion. You will be clear in each trip’s Trip Inclusion. Most of the trip prices do not include the following unless stated in itinerary:

  • Personal travel insurance both Emergency medical and evacuation
  • Visa, passport and vaccination charges
  • International flight to/from our destinations of operation, and departure airport taxes to the respective countries.
  • Extra meals, transport costs, accommodation costs and other expenses not included in the itinerary
  • Laundry, postage, Personal clothing (unless provided in itinerary), medical expense and items of a personal nature
  • Emergency evacuation and/or searches, and
  • Not mentioned in the itinerary.
  • Tips and excess baggage charge
Your trip cost does include transfer to and from the destination airport(s). We will pick you up from the airport or the destination we run our trip. Prior to your departure your meeting point will be at NextYatra’s office or NextYatra’s contact point abroad or specified hotels in destination of operation.


NextYatra aims for the fulfillment of your every desire. In this connection, we perform our duties honestly and seriously to make your experience smooth and pleasant. However, NextYatra cannot take any responsibility regarding changes and alternations in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, and political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents. Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot. All clients are advised to take out their own insurance to adequately cover against medical and personal accident risk.

While undertaking tours, transportation, hotel accommodation and other services only acts as an agent on the clear understanding that it shall not be, in any way, responsible or liable for any accident, damages, loss, delay, international flight cancellation/delays, or inconvenience caused in connection with the travel facilities arranged by the company, its employees or agents. All bookings are accepted and executed with utmost care, yet no responsibility is undertaken for any change or deviation on account of factors beyond our control. NextYatra reserves the right to modify any arrangements required by and made on behalf of the clients and to cancel the same without prior notice.


Health, fitness and safety:

Good health and physical fitness is required for all trips so we advise you to check your physical condition before you book the trip. Before you set out to travel, it is strongly recommend that clients check your doctor and dentist regarding your health and fitness since tours and treks require a certain level of physical fitness in Nepal. If a doctor has recommended against travel or indicated travel may be inconvenient then inform us of the details. In your trip our trained guides and staffs will help you.

The guides are highly professional and are well-trained including in the first aid and hygiene, personal protection equipment, and what to do if an injury occurs. Extensive First aid kits are taken on all trips and, if the need should ever arise, we are able to evacuate seriously ill group members by helicopter.


Flight Delay:

Flight by plane and helicopter are prone to cancellations and delays or notorious weather in remote areas and some time operational complications which could be happened in mountain regions and can cause domestic flight delays, particularly in Mt. Everest region Lukla flight, Annapurna region Jomsom flight, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. in the Adventure of delayed domestic flights, NextYatra will meet departing city accommodation and food costs prior to your trip, and accommodation and food costs on a normal trip basis for delayed return flights.

When these flights are considered in the itinerary, it is also recommended to carry extra money to buy food and accommodations in case of delays. NextYatra will not be responsible for these additional expenses but will assist to make alternative arrangements where possible with extra costs.


Customers Acceptation:

The customer declares to understand and accept the conditions described in this page, and such acknowledgement will be reconfirmed by any of the following events:
1. Payment of the hired services by any means of payment.
2. Reception of the receipt for the aforementioned services.
3. Using any of the parts of the services that have been hired.
