Annapurna trek takes you through the most classic trekking around the Annapurna region. It is a 300 km trek reaching an altitude of 5400m in the region of the world's tenth highest mountain, Mt. Annapurna (8091m). The route will take you along the Marshyangdi river valley, over the Thorung La pass, and down to the Kali Gandaki Valley.
Beginning the trek from Besisahar in Marshyangdi valley, you'll reach Syange via Sirung village, a typical Gurung village with views of waterfalls and snow-capped mountains. Continuing the trek through the Annapurna Conservation Area over the Thorung La pass, you can watch the fabulous Mustang peak and the snow-clad bulk of Mt. Dhaulagiri. Descending to the Hindu pilgrimage site Muktinath, you can watch 108 small water taps and mystifying natural gas fire. The trek will further take you to the Kali Gandaki river valley along the world's deepest gorge, and all the way to Tatopani, a natural hot spring spot. The hike will lead you to see the earth's most perfect sunrise from the Poon hill. You will be mesmerized by the spectacular view of sun slowly touching the snow caps.
